Do you have a need for?
- Extremely accurate elemental analysis (<0.5%) for analyte levels >100ppm
- Best attainable precision (ca. 0.3% RSD)
- NIST SRM traceability for both the Determined Value and the Uncertainty?
If so, you may be interested in VHG Labs services for “High Performance ICP-AES.”
VHG Labs has worked with the National Institute of Standards (NIST) to develop a method that utilizes modern instrumentation to rival accuracy, precision and Standard Reference Material (SRM) traceability that was only available with extremely time consuming classical gravimetric analysis. A successful ICP-AES method was developed(1-3) called “High Performance ICP-AES” and VHG Labs is proud to say that we use this method to assay our A+ standards. This protocol may be appropriate for your application, too. Perhaps you wish to have a highly characterized “in house” reference standard? Questions? Call us and ask for Laboratory Services or e-mail us.
